Basilico

Basilico entices with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and authentic Italian cuisine. Enjoy both à la carte and buffet options featuring a dazzling array of signature dishes and sumptuous spreads of antipasti, mains and desserts. Enlivening the dining experience is the theatre of activity surrounding a rotisserie, espresso bar and walk-in wine cellar, and an al fresco dining area on the terrace overlooking the pool.

The famed winery enjoys different microclimates from its privileged position between valley and sea in Luguria, lending coveted characteristics such as elegance and freshness to each and every harvest of Vermentino and other native grapes.

$108 per person for a 4-course dinner with welcome drinks, canapes, wine pairings and cheese buffet.

True to tradition, Valentine’s Day dinner at Basilico is guaranteed to be a plentiful affair. Entire rooms have been dedicated to dessert, chocolate is showcased in abundance and every lady leaves wearing a smile in her heart and a long stemmed rose in her hand. This year, the romantic dining experience begins with a glass of sparkling rose, followed by a medley of antipasti at the appetiser buffet. Mains and entrees are served to the table before the meal concludes with a cheese and dessert buffet.  
 
Before the curtain call, the special evening of celebrations culminates with Basilico’s raffle draw that will gift three couples with an experience at Regent Singapore.

The Ligurian costal region is a landscape marvel. Steep, uneven terrain wasn’t enough to deter a continous history of human settlement over a millennium. Small towns, historically stratified in relation to the sea gave rise to a cuisine birthed from coast and land. The freshest seafood is found in abundance while basil, rosemary, pine nuts and porcini mushrooms thrive on sea breezes and mineral-rich soil.

Come weekends, look forward to themed buffet nights at Basilico. Prized truffles take centrestage on the buffet lines on Friday with a live station of Porcini Mushroom Risotto featuring wispy showers of black winter truffle. More of the prized gem is liberally shaved over fresh ricotta and burrata cheeses as well as Angus Roast Beef Carpaccio. 

On Saturday, the spotlight is trained on fresh ocean catch of Queen Scallopss with Aperol Spritz Dressing; Mediterranean Seafood Salad with Mussels, Rock Lobster and Octopus; and Sardinan Fregola with Tiger Prawns, Clams and Red Mullet Bottarga.

Meet Our Chef

Luca Beccalli

Born and raised in a small village in northern Italy, Chef Luca Beccalli brings to his cooking a passion for authenticity and the curiosity to explore, which stems from his love for travelling and discovering new cultures.

In a culinary career that began at the age of 15, Chef Luca honed his skills at various fine dining and casual restaurants across Europe and North America, before making his first foray into Asia as Head Chef of our award-winning flagship Italian restaurant, Basilico. Remaining true to his roots, his stunning creations retain the traditional essence of a dish, home-style cooking delivered with modern flair, and are a vibrant reflection of his personality – young, colourful and Italian!
