The dishes and wines will showcase the robust flavours of the region have been specially crafted by Basilico Chef de Cuisine Luca Beccalli and team, featuring exquisite wines from Cantina Villa Mongalli and Cantina Tudernum.
Cantina Villa Mongalli is a small artisanal winery, lovingly run by the Menghini family in the countryside. Cantina Tudernum on the other hands was founded in 1958 by 57 vineyard owners that came together to produce and market wine as a cooperative. Today, prestigious Italian critics and publications have recognized the quality of Tudernum’s wines and each year brings further confirmation of the winery’s efforts and dedication to excellence in quality and value.

Meet Our Chef
Born and raised in a small village in northern Italy, Chef Luca Beccalli brings to his cooking a passion for authenticity and the curiosity to explore, which stems from his love for travelling and discovering new cultures.
In a culinary career that began at the age of 15, Chef Luca honed his skills at various fine dining and casual restaurants across Europe and North America, before making his first foray into Asia as Head Chef of our award-winning flagship Italian restaurant, Basilico. Remaining true to his roots, his stunning creations retain the traditional essence of a dish, home-style cooking delivered with modern flair, and are a vibrant reflection of his personality – young, colourful and Italian!
This year's Basilissimo dinner series uses latitudinal parrallels over the boot-shaped peninsular to map out a unique Italian dining experience.
