At the newly opened casual dining restaurant Charlotte & Fritz at the Hotel Regent Berlin Chef de cuisine Jörg Lawerenz and his team create harmonic combinations of local, fresh cuisine - mainly using regional produce - with culinary influences from other countries and cultures. The restaurant prides itself as well with its selection of fine meats.
The lunch offer has also been revamped: Along with the main menu, a weekly changing business lunch menu will tantalise time pressured taste buds. The dinner varies its main courses and includes classic dishes like ox cutlet for two, carved at the table; regional specialities such as breast of chicken from Brandenburg; fresh fish from the region and vegetarian as well as vegan treats.
The interior design reflects the idea of a sophisticated Berlin salon, a duet of heritage and modernity. The elegant yet informal atmosphere along with the view over the historic Gendarmenmarkt pays homage to the salon culture of the 19th century.
